by: AIA New York
Do you know an AIA architect who has made significant and measurable achievements in design, preservation, education, literature, or service?
Election to fellowship recognizes those achievements and also honors architects who have made contributions to architecture and society on a national level.
Please make a recommendation about who the AIA New York should nominate to fellowship from our chapter for the 2018/2019 cycle. Recommendations are due by 5 pm on February 14, 2019.
In order to be considered for fellowship, architects must be AIA members in good standing for at least ten years. Candidates may be recommended to the local committee by any other member of AIA or can self-refer. A recommendation note sent by a colleague should include the candidate’s name and contact information (firm, telephone, and email address) and be sent to Attn: Suzanne Mecs, Fellows Committee, at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place, New York, NY 10012, or via email to smecs@aiany.org by February 14, 2010. The guidelines and procedures for applying to the College of Fellows are outlined on the National Site here. Questions specific to AIA New York’s policies can be directed to Suzanne Mecs.
