Do you know an AIA architect who has made significant and measurable achievements in design, preservation, education, literature, or service?
AIA fellowship recognizes architects who have made contributions to architecture and society on a national level. Please make a recommendation about who AIA New York should nominate within our chapter for the 2022/2023 cycle. Recommendations are due by 5:00 pm on February 14, 2022.
To be considered for fellowship, architects must be AIA members in good standing for at least 10 years. Candidates may be recommended by any other AIA member; they may also self-refer. A recommendation note should include the candidate’s contact information (name, firm name, telephone number, and email address) and a paragraph describing their area of expertise and potential Object of Nomination. Individuals recommended will be asked to submit a portfolio to support the candidacy by mid-March.
Information should be sent to Suzanne Mecs at smecs@aiany.org by February 14. Guidelines and procedures for applying to the College of Fellows are outlined on the National Site. Questions specific to AIA New York’s policies and procedures can be directed to Suzanne Mecs.
