As architecture students graduate this month in the midst of an unprecedented global health pandemic and financial crisis, AIA National launched the #ArchGrad20 campaign to both celebrate the accomplishments of graduates and offer practicing architects the chance to share their own tips, guidance, and positive stories on Twitter. Here are a few of our favorite posts so far—head to to Twitter to share your own story and see more!
Architecture ’20 Grads, you’ve got this
1. HAVE PROFOUND IMPACT
2. DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK TO STUPID QUESTIONS
3. SUSPEND DISBELIEF
4. FIND YOUR CHAMPIONS, BE A CHAMPION
5. FAIL FAST, FAIL OFTEN, BUT DON’T QUIT. YOU CAN FAIL IN THE MOMENT + NOT BE A FAILURE FOR LIFE. #ArchGrad20 pic.twitter.com/yS3X9k3c8L— Rosa Sheng, FAIA (@RosaSheng) May 19, 2020
Me: “I’m an architect.”@SirKenRobinson: “That’s it?” (with humor)
In my message to graduating #architecture students, you are much more than your degree and your current circumstances. “You have the power to change the world.” Congratulations #ArchGrad20! @AIANational @BSAAIA pic.twitter.com/daCIET0jGy— Emily Grandstaff-Rice (@egrfaia) May 19, 2020

2020 Arch grads – I’m really proud of you. Life is weird, but you’re resilient.
Hostess, admin, designer, biz owner = jobs I took before landing in architecture. Stay strong, find a mentor, and go for it. I’m eager to work with you. Good luck!#ArchGrad20 @aiayaf @AIANational pic.twitter.com/GdLngIxI3G
