The Day of Service program received the AIA New York State Frederic Schwartz Community Development Award for 2019. This award recognizes and acknowledges projects and individuals who have a substantial impact on the built environment within the various localities of New York State, or on the State as a whole.
Kavitha Mathew, AIA, LEED AP, Director of Leadership and Engagement at AIA New York, was honored with the Bea Arthur Award at the Ali Forney Center’s annual Fall gala, on October 25, 2019, for the 2019 Day of Service project with COOKFOX.
