Competition Info

Purpose

The Residential Review was created by the AIANY Interiors Committee to showcase New York City-based architects who are designing outstanding residential spaces. The showcase, consisting of large-format posters, will be on display in a showroom storefront in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood. Support is generously provided by SoHo Design District.

Eligibility

The architect or firm must be based in New York City and be an AIA member, but projects can be located anywhere in the world. Architects may enter more than one project. Submitted projects must be residential and have been completed within the last five years.

There is a $50 fee to enter.
Subsequent entries from the same architect/firm will be discounted to $25 per additional entry.

 

Submissions

Architects of the selected projects will be responsible for submitting one completed file using the provided template. Please find the display board template here.

Please use the provided template for your submission. Both .PDF and .INDD formats have been provided and must be submitted. Required information must be completed. Images, plans, and additional material can be laid out as desired in the indicated area.

Photos of the completed project are required. Inclusion of plans, sketches, and models that convey the design intent are strongly recommended. These may be laid out as desired in the indicated area.
