AIA New York is seeking co-chair applications for its Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, a group focusing on planning, architectural design, technical, and policy issues related to transportation and infrastructure, including systems and civic facilities to accommodate marine, aviation, and land-based transit, as well as energy, water and waste distribution networks. It is the mission of the committee to examine the architecture of, and to advocate for design quality in, transportation and infrastructure projects.
Preferred candidates will have shown strong involvement with the committee, a commitment to the committee’s goals, a clear vision for the future of the committee, and good communication and management skills. All applications must include a 250-word maximum letter of interest and CV sent to jcorbin@aiany.org with the subject line, “AIANY Transportation and Infrastructure Co-Chair Application.” Apply by March 27, 2024.
