NYIT Masters of Architecture in Urban and Regional Design students and BArch students, in a joint venture with Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy), are working with a team of national architects on a comprehensive plan to develop Staten Island’s underutilized waterfront. The Staten Island Chamber of Commerce has been conducting a survey of local residents, titled “It’s a Shore Thing,” that will inform the AIA Regional/Urban Design Assistance Team (R/UDAT).
