Along with the cocktail reception and opening of Dymaxion study center, the Center for Architecture will be also be presenting the Buckminster Fuller Fly’s Eye Dome, courtesy of the Buckminster Fuller Institute and Max Protetch Gallery, New York, in conjunction with NYC Department of Transportation’s Temporary Art Program and Friends of LaGuardia Place. The dome will be temporarily sited at LaGuardia Park (across the street from the Center for Architecture on LaGuardia Place between Bleecker + W. 3rd Streets).
