New Housing New York Workshop Series: Creative Programming and Sustainable Design for Mixed Use and Affordable Housing

This series of programs aims to educate community development corporations and the general public on how to increase their capacity to respond to City-initiated RFP’s through more innovative practices.

City government officials will discuss ways of expanding the central concepts of the NHNY competition and lessons learned through the process. How can ALL affordable housing be considered as an opportunity to create sustainable buildings? What programs add to the economic and social sustainability of communities?
