Collaboration and Green Design: Panel Discussion
The opening night panel discussion will explore the role of collaboration in the design of The Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park, addressing the dynamic process of creative and technical exchange that contributed to the building's many innovative and high-performance features. Moderator Carol Willis, architectural historian and founder of the Skyscraper Museum, will lead panel members in a conversation about many of the tower's green design solutions, including co-generation, thermal storage, wastewater recapture, air filtration, daylighting and dimmers, LEDs, and other high-performance systems, as well as such human-centered design approaches as biophilia and biomimicry in the design process for The Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park. Audience participation is encouraged in this critical exploration of one of New York City's most sustainable skyscrapers.
